Dr. Greg Shaw (Retired)
Dr. Shaw, the namesake of the practice, retired in 2020 after 31 years in practice in Oakville. Over the past three years he has been building an eco-friendly home north of the city where he currently resides with his wife Cathy and their two dogs.
Dr. Steve Bako - Clinic Director
Dr. Steve was always an active participant in sports. Before becoming a collegiate baseball pitcher he was a member of the ’05 USSSA 17U Championship-winning Ontario Blue Jays team.
He attended school in Kansas City, Missouri and Tahlequah, Oklahoma on baseball and academic scholarships. After experiencing the power of chiropractic with his own injuries, his focus shifted from dentistry to chiropractic. He brings with him his experience working in two high volume practices in Florida and Mississauga, where he honed his skills and developed his passion for working with families and newborns.
Dr. Steve first graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma prior to graduating chiropractic school at Life University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Steve is proficient in toggle recoil, Thompson, Torque Release and Webster techniques and applies a tonal approach to addressing the underlying cause of abnormal tone and tension in the spinal cord.

Outside the Office
Dr. Bako and his wife, live in Oakville and enjoy cheering on all of Toronto's sports teams. They enjoy travelling the world, golfing, hiking with their dog, Bachaesh, and discovering delicious places to eat.

Emily
Emily joined the practice after several years as a national trainer in the corporate sector. Emily enjoys keeping busy, so when she’s not working she can be found gardening (be sure to ask about her recent studies in herbalism), cooking, crafting or working on some sort of DIY home renovation project.
